Spring in England really is one of the most beautiful sights to my eyes. The soft colours and the may blossoms appear after winter, and life feels fresh again. What a fantastic time of the year for Sarah and Alex’s pretty pastel wedding. It’s hard to put this wedding day into words, there was so much personality, joy and emotion; really I should let the photographs speak for themselves.
Every time I look at these images I well up a little bit inside, every bit of emotion I felt throughout the day is channelled into these photographs. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as Sarah walked down the aisle. From the beautiful time of worship and prayer in the morning through to the smiles of grandparents around the meal table, my heart was soaring for Sarah and Alex.
Trinity Church, Cheltenham holds a special place in my heart and history, it has recently been beautifully renovated to create a light and airy space. I loved shooting here, and would do it again in a flash. Their reception was in the sweet village of Bredon, where friends and family gathered for some incredibly tasty food. There’s nothing better than a wedding where happiness, love and joy are all around.
I’ll leave you with my favourite glimmers of the day:
