Spring in England really is one of the most beautiful sights. When the soft colours and the May blossoms appear, life feels fresh again. It really was a beautiful time of year for Sarah and Alex’s spring wedding.
It’s hard to put this wedding day into words, there was so much personality, joy and emotion; really I should let the photographs speak for themselves.
As Sarah walked down the aisle there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. What came across, with great gentleness and beauty, was the sweetness of their faith, the depth of their love and the kindness of their family.
From the beautiful time of worship and prayer in the morning through to the smiles of grandparents around the meal table, my heart was soaring for Sarah and Alex.
They were so fortunate with the cherry blossoms for their bridal portraits, just perfect for a spring wedding.
Enjoy this pretty, pastel wedding in my original hometown of Cheltenham.
“Words cannot describe how delighted we are that Kate was able to do our photos. She got stuck in right from the start, capturing both the bridal party’s preparations and the groomsmen’s arrival at the church with efficiency, passion and style. It was so lovely to have her with us capturing the mile stones of the day, by being a smiling face and a solid encouraging presence, often one step ahead of everyone else. Without trying she managed to put us at ease with the assurance of knowing she was there. She had met with us before hand to discuss which shots were most important to us and the practicalities for the day, creating an atmosphere calm and tranquility from the start. We had no doubt she would capture the vibrant flavour of the day and she exceeded expectations in every way.
When we looked at our photos for the first time, we couldn’t believe how beautiful they looked. Not only had Kate managed to flawlessly capture the most significant and celebratory moments of the day, but she also displayed her talent for capturing the most wonderful private and intimate moments between us and our guests.
For ourselves the day was such a rollercoaster, when we first saw the photos it felt like Kate had captured pieces of treasure that we hadn’t been able to witness due to our own whirlwind perspective of the day. We couldn’t be happier with these magical memories of our spring wedding that will stay with us forever.

P.S. We mean every word, and wish we were better able to express how grateful we are for these photos. xx”
