Imagine this. An architect has a dream – converting a closed down village church into a home. It’s no easy feat but after many years his labour of love is complete. Not only is it a stunning countryside home, it will soon become him and his wife’s wedding reception venue.
On June 3rd, Katherine and Chris filled their home with all their friends and family, the tables were abounding with the most beautiful wildflowers you’ve ever seen and beautiful china teapots brimming with gin. And everyone just couldn’t stop smiling.
They married in Chris’ childhood village, in the sunshine. Guests walked up the steep footpath to the Ramblers Church, a lone medieval church on a hillside overlooking the village of Walesby with spectacular views across the plains towards Lincoln Cathedral.
It was clear to me how dearly loved they are by so many. And for me, it has been amazing to get to know such an open, friendly and heartfelt couple who I wish a lifetime of happiness.
