Julia & Toby // Industrial Wedding

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you may have noticed that I love being in the countryside. But lately, I’ve been falling in love with the city too and so I am loving this unique, industrial wedding styling. Hats off to Julia & Toby and Inner City Weddings for making it look so beautiful!

Julia and Toby wed on a fresh November day with beautiful blue skies and soft winter sunshine that lit up the whole church. They held their reception at Kelham Island, one of cities oldest industrial sites. It’s now a museum and hub for amazing creatives like Campbell’s Flowers, as well as a museum full of charming old machinery. As you can imagine, their drinks reception was pretty darn amazing!

Toby is a super talented Creative Director over at Far North Film and so it came as no surprise that the lighting in the industrial wedding warehouse was spectacular. As soon as you walked in you felt the cosy romantic glow from hundreds of candles and the twinkling fairy lights, giving such a relaxed vibe to the whole evening.

It was a wonderful day to celebrate such a special couple, and much fun was had by all! I spent three years living in Sheffield, so on a personal level, it was lovely to see so many friendly faces and to catch up with a couple of past couples too. Thank you again wonderful Julia & Toby for having me along to document your big day!
