Autumn is an exciting time to have a wedding… especially when your theme is an Autumn woodland! As soon as Emily showed me her dress with golden lacing, I knew it was going to be truly perfect for their vision. Their table decorations were the most imaginative I’ve ever seen, with the super cute toy animals making several appearances throughout the day.
I had been looking forward to photographing at Leigh Court for a little while. It’s a Grade II listed country house with Palladian architecture perfectly coloured with Bath stone. The best feature of all is the floating staircase in the great hall from which Emily descended as part of her walk down the aisle to meet Tom – just magical!
Guests played board games in the warmth of the evening glow, with many rooms and ample space to chill and chat. I love cosy evenings in Autumn and this was one I will remember for a long time to come.
Lots of love to the newly weds Emily and Tom! x
